![]() Don't Miss: 200+ Exciting New iOS 13 Features for iPhone. The rest of the codes are either very simple ("0000"), create a pattern ("2580"), or in the case of "5683", make up a word (LOVE). ![]() The most popular code was "1234", which almost 9,000 people used. My main questions are : 1- Is there any sort of software that can put my phone into DFU mode WITHOUT requiring my passcode or resetting my phone OR is there any sort of software that I can download on my computer that can control the home and power buttons even while the phone is turned off so I can enter DFU mode. These ten iPhone passcodes make up 15% of the 200,000 passcodes that his application recorded. I've looked online and found out that I could get into DFU mode through my computer but it requires me to actually restore my phone which defeats the whole purpose of trying to get the passcode in the first place. The problem with this is that to get into DFU mode I need my home and power buttons to be working but they don't and neither do any of the buttons on this phone. However going through the actual process requires to enter DFU mode. Eventually after about an hour of searching online I found out that I can actually retrieve the passcode by using something called Gecko iPhone Toolkit. I want to open it mainly to look back at old photos or games that I used to play on it but I have no way of actually opening it without knowing the password. When I charged it and it booted up I realized that I had forgotten the phones passcode to actually enter it in (this phone has not been used for a decade). Special thanks for the CSS from its creators at /r/Apple: /u/Xapher19, and /u/gouch23!Ī few days ago I dug up my old iPhone 3GS along with its charger.
